Town of DerrygonnellyThe village came into existence in the 1830s. It is a well planned habitation. Two storied houses, shops and pubs run down the main street. One shop specializes in its collection of more than one hundred antique clocks merrily ticking and striking away at the same time. To the north are the remains of a modest church. Here the architecture is an amalgam of the Medieval and the Renaissance. It was constructed in 1627 and his coat of arms is on display over the main door panels.
